Our Roots

Schwarzkopf
Hair colour and texture are in everyone’s DNA. But for PHCP founder and owner, Gerd Schwarzkopf, so is the hair care products industry. In 1898 his grandfather, Hans Schwarzkopf, invented a better shampoo. Soon after, the Schwarzkopf company was established and grew to become one of the world’s most important hair care companies in the world. It was acquired by the Henkel Group in 1995.

R&D
To cut it in the hair care products industry, you really need to know your stuff. Especially in terms of cosmetic chemistry and international regulatory compliance standards. At PCHP, all of our highly skilled and experienced R&D chemists and QA/QC coordinators excel on both fronts.
Bulk Manufacturing
Hair colours. Shampoos. Conditioners. Creams. Lotions. Perms. Gels. Shine enhancers. Sprays. You name it, PHCP has the capacity to make it. In bulk. Some 70,000 tubes of hair colour crèmes per shift. Over 18,000 kg of cold process liquids per shift. And over 18,000 kg of hot process liquids per shift. Plus the resources to run up to 3 shifts in a 24-hour period.
Filling & Assembly
From water-thin liquids to highly viscous gels, our six automated lines can fill, cap, label and carton over 100,000 total units per shift. In almost any size, shape or type of container including plastic bottles, glass jars and plastic, metal or laminate tubes. Promotional sets and multi-SKU kits can also be accommodated.
QC
PHCP’s meticulous quality control standards help to ensure that at the end of the day, every hair falls perfectly into place. All raw materials, packaging and other components supplied by third-party vendors are routinely inspected. Detailed documentation checklists ensure formulation consistency from one batch to the next. And on the production line, every step is rigorously monitored.
Material Handling Receiving/Warehousing/Shipping
Our super spacious international warehousing and distribution centre functions even more smoothly than a ceramic flat-iron. State-of-the-art computerized inventory control systems provide staff with instant and accurate access to the more than 2,300 pallets stored on-site at any given time, including 150 aerosol-dedicated pallet locations.
